The Spooner Rails volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Ashland Oredockers to 0 in the Rails league triumph on Thursday.

The Rails now have a 7-21 record. They play next when they travel to Ladysmith for a Heart O'North outing on Tuesday, October 15. Spooner will play a Lumberjacks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Barron (Barron, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 12-25.

With the loss, Ashland drops to 2-20 on the campaign. The Oredockers host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a Heart O'North outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 6-16.
