Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Ballou Knights (Washington, DC) and the host McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC), observed Ballou's volleyball team top McKinley Tech by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Anacostia (Washington, DC). The Indians enter the DCIAA contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Anacostia notched a victory over Bard (Washington, DC), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trainers battle the Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA contest, on Tuesday, October 15. McKinley Tech will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Ramblers enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Bell (Washington, DC).
