In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pioneer Pioneers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Belleville Tigers.
The Pioneers (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Saline (Saline, MI). The Hornets come into the South Eastern - Red challenge with a 14-7 record.
Next, the Tigers meet the Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - East challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Belleville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI).
