With the win, Simon Kenton improves its record to 25-5 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY) to face the Colonels in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 7-14.

The Rebels now own a 6-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant County for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Boone County will face a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Braves record now stands at 9-8.
