The Kelliher/Northome Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Cass Lake-Bena Panthers to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Littlefork-Big Falls for a non-league outing on Monday, October 14. Kelliher/Northome will play a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over International Falls (International Falls, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Cass Lake-Bena drops to 3-18 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN) to play the Wolves in a Northwoods outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 8-13. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN)
