Maryland High School Volleyball - Long Reach over Centennial

October 10, 2024: Columbia, MD 21045

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Long Reach Lightning volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Centennial Eagles.

The Lightning (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats come into the Howard County challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Wilde Lake lost by Reservoir (Fulton, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Monday, October 14. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).
