The St. Edmond Gaels topped the visiting Clear Lake Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Gaels confront the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) in a game, on Saturday, October 12. St. Edmond will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Norsemen go into the game with a 22-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Polk (Alleman, IA).

The Lions (8-15) will now prepare for their game against Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Mohawks go into the non-league game with a 1-25 record. In their last game, Mason City was dropped by Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA), 3-1, in a league game.
