The Father Capodanno Grunts (Vass, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Scotland Christian Academy Saints (Laurinburg, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Grunts now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Spirit of Life Christian Academy for a bout on Monday, October 14.

With the loss, Scotland Christian Academy drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Southside Christian (Clayton, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a NCCSA AA District 3- East Region bout on Friday, October 11. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Southside Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC)
