Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Unity Christian Crusaders (Hudsonville, MI) and the host Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI), observed Unity Christian's volleyball team hold off Forest Hills Eastern by a tally of 2-1.

The Crusaders (20-9) will now prepare for their contest against Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Thornapple Kellogg was tipped by Northview (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold contest, on Thursday, October 10. Forest Hills Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 18-12 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 4-17 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Northview (Grand Rapids, MI).
