Fans at Thursday's league contest between the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) and the visiting Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), observed L.C. Bird's volleyball team top Huguenot by a count of 3-0.
The Skyhawks (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Hermitage was knocked off by Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Falcons battle the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 14. Huguenot will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 3-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
