Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Philipsburg-Osceola advances its record to 12-8 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA) to face the Rams in a Laurel Highlands 1 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 1-11.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Huntingdon will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.
