Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) and the visiting LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA), observed Sam Houston's volleyball team top LaGrange by a count of 3-0.
The Broncos (22-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Fontainebleau notched a victory over Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Gators battle the Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 16. LaGrange will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record.
