In Thursday's league challenge, the host Landry Buccaneers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus.

The Buccaneers (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Lions enter the Division III District 9 challenge with a 8-19 record. In their last challenge, Booker T. Washington beat St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chambered Nautilus meet the West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. New Orleans Charter Science & Math will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to John Ehret (Marrero, LA).
