Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Rapid City Christian Comets (Rapid City, SD) and the visiting Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD), observed Rapid City Christian's volleyball team top Lead-Deadwood by a count of 3-0.

The Comets (12-17) will now prepare for their contest against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison enter the A Region 8 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Hot Springs notched a victory over Custer (Custer, SD), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Golddiggers meet the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to move on its 3-20 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 5-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jones County (Murdo, SD).
