The Westminster Academy Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting North Central Hurricanes to 0 in the Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.
The Crusaders now have a 22-5 record. They play next when they travel to Academy of the Sacred Heart for a Division V District 2 outing on Saturday, October 12. Westminster Academy will play a Saints team coming off a 3-0 league win over Elton (Elton, LA). The Saints record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, North Central drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to St. Edmund (Eunice, LA) to play the Fighting Blue Jays in a Division V District 2 outing on Wednesday, October 16. The Fighting Blue Jays come into the outing with a record of 10-6.
