Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Wayne Memorial Zebras (Wayne, MI) and the visiting River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI), observed Wayne Memorial's volleyball team top River Rouge by a tally of 3-0.

The Zebras (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Westland, MI). The Rockets enter the Kensington Lakes - East contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Glenn was beaten by Dearborn (Dearborn, MI), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Consortium College Prep Cougars (Detroit, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 15. River Rouge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
