In Thursday's league outing, the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) volleyball team beat the host Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY), by a tally of 3-0.

The Panthers now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Lourdes for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 15. Wallkill will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Spackenkill drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY) to play the Dukes in a MHAL outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Dukes come into the outing with a record of 7-5. Marlboro Central won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Saugerties (Saugerties, NY)
