The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK) and the visiting Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK), witnessed Wetumka's football squad wallop Alex by a tally of 62-26.

The Chieftains (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cyril (Cyril, OK). The Pirates go into the B-II District 2 (8 Man) bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Cyril was crushed by Weleetka (Weleetka, OK), 58-30, in a league bout.

The Longhorns now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Strother for a B-II District 2 (8 Man) bout on Thursday, October 16. Alex will encounter a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 league win over Thackerville (Thackerville, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-2.
