East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA), 49-20 in a league battle.

With the win, East Paulding upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA) to confront the Mustangs in a AAAAA Region 5 match on Friday, October 17. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 2-5. Kennesaw Mountain lost 48-45 in their recent league battle against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA)

The Cougars now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Lithia Springs for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, October 24. Alexander will play a Lions team coming off a 65-0 league loss to Rome (Rome, GA). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.
