The Reedsport football squad scored 37 points and limited the host Alsea Wolverines to 31 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gold Beach for a 2A Special District 4 (9 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Reedsport will face a Panthers team coming off a 22-18 league loss to Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
The Wolverines (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Falls City (Falls City, OR). The Mountaineers go into the 1A Special District 2 (6 Man) challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Falls City nipped Mapleton (Mapleton, OR), 69-0, in a league challenge.
