The Amherst Bulldogs walloped the visiting West Texas Tornadoes Tornadoes football team by a score of 45-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitharral for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 3 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Amherst will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 54-0 league win over Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, West Texas Tornadoes drops to 2-5 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Panhandle Christian Home Educators (Amarillo, TX) to face the Warriors in a TAIAO Division 3 - North (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 17. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Panhandle Christian Home Educators lost 90-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Miami (Miami, TX)
