Kansas High School Football - Salina Central defeats Andover Central

In Friday's league match, the host Salina Central Mustangs football squad scored a good 23-13 victory over the Andover Central Jaguars.

The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Andover (Andover, KS). The Trojans enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Andover prevailed over Newton (Newton, KS), 42-27, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II match on Friday, October 17. Andover Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 49-21 league win over Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
