The Ascension Episcopal football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Gueydan Bears to 6 in the league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vermilion Catholic for a 1A District 6 game on Friday, October 17. Ascension Episcopal will face a Eagles team coming off a 42-19 non-league loss to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
The Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Thrive Academy was ripped by Northeast (Pride, LA), 51-0, in a non-league game.
