North Carolina High School Football - Southeast Guilford over Asheboro

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), witnessed Southeast Guilford's football squad knock off Asheboro by a tally of 21-3.

The Falcons (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Rams enter the TAAC Six 5A/6A contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Northeast Guilford was toppled by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 14-8, in a league bout.

The Blue Comets now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Eastern Guilford for a TAAC Six 5A/6A bout on Friday, October 17. Asheboro will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 31-13 league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
