The Tillamook Cheesemakers felled the visiting Astoria Fishermen football team by a score of 35-15 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cheesemakers play the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) in a 4A Special District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Tillamook will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Indians go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 50-0 league win over St. Helens (St. Helens, OR).

The Fishermen (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Seagulls come into the 4A Special District 1 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Seaside knocked off Gladstone/Riverdale (Gladstone, OR), 56-7, in a league test.
