Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, OH), 47-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Wilmington improves its record to 5-2 on the season.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host New Richmond for a Southern Buckeye - American match on Friday, October 17. Batavia will meet a Lions squad coming off a 42-14 league loss to Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
