New York High School Football - Mt. Markham prevails Beaver River

In Friday's league match, the host Mt. Markham Mustangs football squad scored a good 42-20 triumph over the Beaver River Beavers.
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dolgeville (Dolgeville, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 3 D - 1 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Dolgeville toppled Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY), 47-8, in a league challenge.
The Beavers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cato-Meridian (Cato, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 3 D - 1 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Cato-Meridian was dropped by Notre Dame (Utica, NY), 26-24, in a league test.
