Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, IA) fans exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team overwhelm the host East Union Eagles (Afton, IA), 72-0 in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) in a 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 17. Bedford will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Demons go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 39-6 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, IA).
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Griswold (Griswold, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Griswold was routed by CAM (Anita, IA), 66-12, in a league test.
