Pennsylvania High School Football - Bensalem trounces Council Rock North

In Friday's league match, the visiting Bensalem Fighting Owls football squad scored a decisive 43-7 victory over the Council Rock North Indians.

The Fighting Owls (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA). The Cardinals go into the Suburban One - Continental battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Upper Dublin was crushed by Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA), 28-21, in a league battle.

The Indians now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Souderton for a Suburban One - Continental battle on Friday, October 17. Council Rock North will play a Indians team coming off a 14-7 league loss to Council Rock South (Holland, PA). The Indians record now stands at 6-2.
