The Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE) football knocked off the visiting Benson Bunnies (Omaha, NE), 14-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln East for a A District 3 outing on Friday, October 17. Bryan will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 28-21 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Benson falls to 2-5 on the year. The Bunnies travel to Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to battle the Knights in a A District 4 game on Thursday, October 16. The Knights enter the game with a record of 4-3. Lincoln Southeast won 40-7 in their recent league game against North Platte (North Platte, NE)
