In their next game, the Huskies face the South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) in a District 9 North - North (9 Man) challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Bigfork will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 22-6 non-league win over Northome/Kelliher (Northome, MN).

The Mariners (0-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Woods (Cook, MN). The grizzlies come into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, North Woods was knocked off by Cook County (Grand Marais, MN), 20-0, in a league outing.
