The Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals walloped the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs football squad by a margin of 40-6 in Friday's league test.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Lawn for a South Suburban - Red game on Friday, October 17. Blue Island Eisenhower will face a Spartans team coming off a 59-29 league loss to Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.
The Mustangs (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts enter the South Suburban - Red game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Argo was overwhelmed by Shepard (Palos Heights, IL), 48-0, in a league outing.
