Iowa High School Football - Boone sneaks past Jefferson

October 10, 2025: Boone, IA 50036

The Boone Toreadors football squad scored 27 points and held the visiting Jefferson Yellowjackets to 24 in the Toreadors league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Toreadors clash with the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) in a 4A District 6 outing, on Friday, October 17. Boone will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Monarchs come into the outing with a 0-7 record after their 62-0 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA).

With the defeat, Jefferson drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Glenwood (Glenwood, IA) to clash with the Rams in a 4A District 6 outing on Friday, October 17. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Glenwood lost 45-3 in their recent league game against A-D-M (Adel, IA)
