Virginia High School Football - Briar Woods holds off Freedom

October 10, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20148

The Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) football tipped the visiting Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA), 24-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Falcons now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lightridge for a Potomac outing on Friday, October 17. Briar Woods will clash with a Bolts squad coming off a 57-0 league loss to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Freedom drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a record of 2-4. Osbourn Park lost 35-0 in their recent league outing against Independence (Ashburn, VA)
