Alabama High School Football - John Carroll Catholic falls to Briarwood Christian

The Briarwood Christian Lions felled the host John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers football team by a score of 23-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions play the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) in a 5A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Briarwood Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.

With the defeat, John Carroll Catholic drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Corner (Warrior, AL) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a 5A Region 5 test on Friday, October 17. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 6-1. Corner won 56-20 in their recent league test against Hayden (Hayden, AL)
