Ohio High School Football - Walnut Ridge smashes Briggs

The Walnut Ridge Scots (Columbus, OH) football trounced the visiting Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH), 56-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Scots now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Africentric Early College for a Columbus City - South game on Friday, October 17. Walnut Ridge will battle a Nubians team coming off a 54-8 league win over South (Columbus, OH). The Nubians record now stands at 7-1.

The Bruins (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH). The Red Devils enter the Columbus City - South game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Marion-Franklin overwhelmed Eastmoor Academy (Columbus, OH), 34-18, in a league game.
