    • Michigan High School Football - Morenci overwhelmed by Britton Deerfield

    October 10, 2025: Morenci, MI 49256

    The Britton Deerfield Patriots walloped the host Morenci Bulldogs football team by a score of 44-8 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Patriots face the Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Britton Deerfield will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 22-12 league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, MI).

    With the defeat, Morenci drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-1. St. Mary Central Catholic won 32-8 in their recent non-league test against Cardinal Stritch (Oregon, OH)
