The Britton-Hecla Braves football squad scored 1 points and limited the visiting Wilmot Wolves to 0 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Braves now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waverly/South Shore for a non-league game on Friday, October 17. Britton-Hecla will face a Coyotes team coming off a 60-8 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 2-4.
The Wolves (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Panthers enter the Eastern Coteau (9 Man) outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Great Plains Lutheran was nipped by DeSmet (DeSmet, SD), 36-0, in a non-league outing.
