The Davenport North Wildcats felled the host Burlington Grayhounds football team by a score of 47-17 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA) in a 4A District 3 test, on Friday, October 17. Davenport North will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 0-7 record after their 63-0 league loss to Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA).
The Grayhounds (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Lancers enter the 4A District 3 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, North Scott topped Clinton (Clinton, IA), 31-0, in a league outing.
