The Empire Bulldogs football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snyder for a B-I District 2 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Empire will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 66-0 league loss to Hollis (Hollis, OK). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-6.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Waurika (Waurika, OK). The Eagles enter the B-I District 2 (8 Man) game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Waurika overwhelmed Central (Marlow, OK), 64-6, in a league game.
