The Carlisle Indians football team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Oakwood Lumberjacks to 21 in the Indians league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Indians play the Madison Mohawks (Middletown, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye challenge, on Friday, October 17. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Mohawks go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 28-8 league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, OH).
The Lumberjacks (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Bellbrook bounced Monroe (Monroe, OH), 10-0, in a league challenge.
