Texas High School Football - Miller tops Carroll

The Miller Buccaneers football squad scored 31 points and limited the host Carroll Tigers to 0 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.

The Buccaneers now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host King for a 5A-2 Region IV District 14 challenge on Thursday, October 23. Miller will face a Mustangs team coming off a 35-17 league loss to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats go into the 5A-2 Region IV District 14 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Gregory-Portland toppled Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX), 56-0, in a league challenge.
