Shiner Comanches (Shiner, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 54-0 in a league match.
The Comanches (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Beavers come into the 2A-2 Region IV District 15 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Falls City routed Louise (Louise, TX), 48-8, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX) in a 2A-2 Region IV District 15 match, on Friday, October 17. Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 59-0 league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX).
