The Lutheran East Falcons football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen to 12 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lucas for a non-league test on Friday, October 17. Lutheran East will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 22-15 non-league win over Reynolds (Greenville, PA). The Cubs record now stands at 3-5.
The Ironmen (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, John F. Kennedy Catholic ran past Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH), 38-26, in a non-league challenge.
