The Corbin Redhounds walloped the host Harlan County Black Bears football team by a score of 53-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Redhounds face the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a 4A District 8 test, on Friday, October 17. Corbin will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Colonels come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 42-6 league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY).

With the defeat, Harlan County drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Black bears host Perry County Central (Hazard, KY) to meet the Commodores in a 4A District 8 test on Friday, October 17. The Commodores enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Perry County Central won 42-6 in their recent league challenge against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)
