The Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) football trounced the visiting Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX), 45-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Stockdale for a 3A-2 Region IV District 15 outing on Friday, October 17. Poth will clash with a Brahmas squad coming off a 42-14 league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Cotulla drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Natalia (Natalia, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 3A-2 Region IV District 15 outing on Friday, October 17.
