Texas High School Football - Covenant Christian falls to St. Paul

The St. Paul Cardinals football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Covenant Christian Cougars to 28 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sacred Heart for a TAPPS Division IV District 2 test on Friday, October 17. St. Paul will meet a Indians squad coming off a 14-6 league loss to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosehill Christian (Tomball, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS Division IV District 2 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Rosehill Christian lost by Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX), 49-0, in a league challenge.
