In Friday's league match, the visiting Osage Green Devils football squad scored a close 27-26 triumph over the Crestwood Cadets.
The Green Devils (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Indians go into the 2A Group 3 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Forest City was tipped by North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), 35-7, in a league battle.
The Cadets now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Waukon for a 2A Group 3 battle on Friday, October 17. Crestwood will play a Indians team coming off a 36-7 league win over New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.
