The Sudan Hornets football squad scored 50 points and limited the host Crosbyton Chiefs to 6 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockney for a 2A-2 Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, October 17. Sudan will play a Longhorns team coming off a 66-40 league win over Morton (Morton, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-3.

The Chiefs (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls go into the 2A-2 Region I District 2 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Hale Center bounced Ralls (Ralls, TX), 52-0, in a league challenge.
