The Dawson-Bryant Hornets were victorious over the visiting South Point Pointers football team by a score of 44-15 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) in a Ohio Valley challenge, on Friday, October 17. Dawson-Bryant will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 70-13 non-league loss to Ironton (Ironton, OH).
The Pointers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Trojans enter the Ohio Valley challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Portsmouth topped Rock Hill (Ironton, OH), 48-7, in a league outing.
